Last week, I joined a call with city leaders, business owners, Mayor Anderson, Lakeville Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Lakeville Chamber of Commerce to strategize a plan to work together to support small businesses including restaurants this winter.
The Chamber and city communications staff, with funding from the city, will launch a campaign highlighting safe ways to dine out and support local restaurants. For instance, several youth sports teams are 'adopting' a restaurant each week and each family places a take out order together.
